slightly eccentric is she, if they only knew
the real me I share with a chosen few

madness and enlightenment where my secret soul resides
which reality to follow each moment must decide

I must live in this world and what can be seen
but in my spirit I follow other dreams

if this world is sane I choose in gladness
my secret thoughts and embrace my madness

Good one! Our madness lies in the false perception that we are somehow separate from God, the resolution of our madness is reconciliation to God which brings peace. Since none of us are so perfectly reconciled, we also struggle with pockets of madness at times.
