Dandelion wine might be in some peoples taste but when I was a kid, my cousin and I stole some of my uncles dandelion wine and the only other time that i have been as sick is when I tried my dads copenhagen. The thought of both can still make my stomache heave. The way i have learned to live with these pesky greens is to try to remember God made them for a reason and they are one of the signs of spring.

Good one, Ione! And dandelions were given us to make necklaces to put around a little girl's neck. They aren't pretty, but you pop off the heads, and telescope the hollow "tubes" (stems) into each other. I and my 2 older sisters used to sit out in the sunny backyard in Michigan and amuse ourselves this way.
