  on the great lake
choppy waves advancing
and retreating
a ring surrounded sun
graced
this perfect day

swooping swaying soaring
weaving in the wind
to music
kites were dancing
precise as blue angles
their grounded pilots
pulling string
as God and I were watching
with hearts flying
mesmerized

Very nice. I recently read a novel called "Dancing on the Wind" (mary jo putney) and thought it was a nice title (maybe what leaves do in the fall) until the author explained that it was an 1800's metaphor for someone dangling at the end of a hangman's rope.
