  Springtime Haiku

Kite soars high on breeze
String held tight in tiny fists
First time flier grins

John Deere dreams in spring
Old one wouldn’t start last fall
Better buy one soon!

Iridescent duck
Brown companion walks beside
Ducklings on the way

Rain, sun, mud, snow, wind
Soggy grass and daffodils
Michigan Springtime
