One morning I awoke to find
The fairies came and left behind
a sight to me which was so grand
a crystal covered wonderland

The sun was shining high above
It kissed the trees below with love
as tiny rainbows came to dance
upon each icy covered branch

I knew the magic could not last
because the ice was melting fast
I thanked the fairies for the chance
to see their world, if just a glance

It is in the low single digits here today. Those fairies left a panorama on my sons' window this morning. It, too was beautiful. I will read your poem to them.
