On a quiet stumpy pond Dad and I had gone alone one day.
To fish there all day long, memories we could to play.
As we would launch the boat adrift in the lake to be just us two.
Skipping a stone while the water was low in the morning dew.
Memories, boy if you let them go those rocks just flew.
You could see them rocks fly while Dad and I would have nothing else to do.
Years have passed leaving old rotted stumps all over the pond.
However the memories of stumpy pond will go on and on.
