Silence

Is amazing….
Peaceful like a single cloud in the sky
Refreshing like a cool glass of water.
Enveloping like a comfortable blanket.
Nurturing like an old friend.
Why, then, do I not make dates with it more often.

Silence

Screams at me of emptiness
Brings to me fears imagined
Unsettled pangs of loneliness for times when loved ones were near.

A long empty corridor with no open doors.

I really like this. Great images. However, I can't help wishing you separated the themes rather than combining the positive & negative. But it's a good one. Just my thoughts.

I love the imagery of the corridor. Very evocative.
