I was, in the end, very disappointed in this. I mean that literally: right up until the end, i was enthralled, mesmerized by Moss' beautiful, fluid writing style, her sure-handed use of her central metaphor, her clever juxtaposition of past and future in the horrors of Sylvie's present.
And then, it ended. To me, the ending felt like a deus ex machina, and a cheat.
This is much, much better than many things you could choose to spend three hours of your life on: however, in my opinion, the wheels off at the end, and it didn't live up to the full potential of Moss' set-up.
