Slipped under the door of her Georgetown home, the note was an ominous reminder of Pay's past. The beautiful young t.v. journalist had come to high-powered Washington to produce a TV series. her subject: Senator Abigail Jennings, slated for nomination as the 1st woman vice president of the U.S. I think this is one of Mary Higgins Clark's best literary efforts. A good read!
