I have Moning's Highland series on my keeper shelf and really wanted to like this book. I appreciated the creativity and world building - secret magical community, warm and cold vampires, books that write while you watch them - but just didn't like the heroine enough to enjoy it. I won't be looking for the rest of this trilogy.
