I read this to my daughter before she started school. I also gave it to my son in 4th grade. My daughter said that is book helped her. She noticed certain things happening in the first week of Kindergarten that she was warned about in this book. My having read it to her let her know how to react to the situation. My son said how he handled certain situations changed after reading this book.
