I'm left feeling very disturbed that a book with such graphically described sadistic violence against women would be so popular. Why would you want to read stuff like that as entertainment? ...Entertainment by fictional descriptions of horrific crimes against women- that is what this book is about. Yuck. I wont be reading anymore by this author.

Graphic violent sexually abuse, descriptions of pointless meals, and heap loads of history on a boring family, helpless women that don't seem to do anything about their problems, and multiple side stories and characters that don't contribute in any way.
