I finally decided it was time to try reading this series...while it was an easy read, I'm not clear what all the hype is about. I think it is well written but the story can be slow and overloaded with details that translate into me getting bored. I'm going to keep going with the series as people say the books get better but if this one is any indication, I may be better off reaching for a different book/series.
