I finally purchased this book a few days ago after I saw the hype growing surronding this series with the release of the upcoming movie.
I had heard mixed reviews but when into reading this with little or no expectations.
What I came out with it are high expectations for the remainder of the series.
I loved this love story. I found it endearing, sweet and poignant. Yes, I know that Bella & Edward are 17 (well Edward is perpetually 17 but more like 80) and that at that age love is not realistically like that but still I was enraptured with their story.
Maybe because I went into it with low expectations that I managed to put aside all the hype and just focus on getting lost in the book.
Hopefully, I will not be disappointed in the remainder of the series
