Cynthia loves her widowed father and deeply appreciates his help and attention after the sudden, tragic loss of her own spouse. But life must go on--she knows even without everyone saying it. Her best friend Judith suggests that if her father found someone and got married, Cynthia would have more "breathing space." And Cynthia cautiously begins to think that maybe isn't such a bad idea. Especially when an attractive widow, mother of an attorney in their local congregation, appears on the scene. With several interested parties working toward the same goal, and Cynthia's two young sons cheering them on, surely it won't be too difficult to meet with success. But the results are hardly what they had anticipated...
