I really enjoyed the movie, and while this was a well written book with a good story and a great setting, I found it irritatingly PG. I guess that's how I know I'm officially too old for this sort of book. I couldn't really feel any of the emotions they were trying to portray. It felt like I was watching a play. Ethan likes the new girl. Why? She's kind of a b.... The new girl says she cares about Ethan, but I'm not convinced. And the two are always described as "kissing"...sometimes for hours...like seriously, I'm going to need a little more detail than that. But what I really have to say about this book is, "It's not you, it's me."
