Former employee Christa Fordyce steals Heather's family recipes and is planning on opening her own donut shop. When she is found dead with a half of a donut lying next to her body, Heather becomes a suspect along with Christa's drug dealing ex boyfriend, Christa's rehabbing brother Billy, and Christa's angry mother. Wanting to make sure her name is cleared Heather sets out to investigate with her good friend Amy and the hunky Detective Shepherd.

A quick easy read with likeable characters.
