Wealthy Towsend Tilden Senior has finally passed on, and to the horror of his grasping relatives, his new will leaves everything to his very young wife, Misty Czenko Tilden. The Tilden clan demand that the attorneys at Saxon & Associates legal firm prove the new will a fraud and get rid of the former lap dancer. Yet Misty has a major gun in her own arsenal: Quenton Cormack, who has handed the Saxons, especially Rachel Saxon, major courtroom defeats in the past.

The fur flies, but a funny thing happens on the way to the battle. Rachel and Quenton start seeing each other differently, thanks to Quenton's charming two-year-old son, Brady. For Rachel and Brady it is love at first sight. How can such a sweet little boy have such an obnoxious father?

The Sheely family is in the center of the action. Dana Sheely is Quenton's trusted paralegal, while her ditsy sister, Katie, is the Saxons' receptionist. To everyone's disbelief, Shawn Sheely falls for the newly widowed Misty. Love and war amongst the lawyers makes for a messy and sometimes comical mix as events spiral out of control.
