I didnt enjoy this book as much as the first two in the trilogy, but it was still very good. The trilogy ended and the world was saved as expected but the story was drawn out and irrelevant in some places. I felt it spent way too much time on Froans bloody campaign and Moli, who turned out to be irrelevant. I was somewhat surprised by a number of things and twists at the end yet felt the story ended quite well. Yim and Honus were good as always; Cam wasnt as well done and complex as in past stories; Thistle was pretty neat; Froan was overdone while Moli and Telk were seemingly important characters that never developed and finally evaporated; Most Holy Gorm didnt play an intricate enough role at the end; the bard (whose name escapes me) could have provided more complexity I think this could have been crafted better and even drawn out into multiple stories. However, it was a well done trilogy with complexity and a depth of characters that surprised me - in a very good way. Thorough, complex, fast pased, full of unexpected plot twists, characters with emotion and depth...
