Eight short stories by Bailey White, read by the author. She has a wonderful gravelly sort of voice and a South Georgia accent.
My favorites were "White Doves" (a hilarious account of a wedding ceremony gone wrong), "Father's Feet" (a recollection of old-time movie theaters that played shlocky horror movies), and "Christmas Traditions" (the title makes this sound bland, but it is actually a funny and somewhat horrifying explanation of how to make scrapple from some hog heads; don't listen to this story while eating).
One cassette, approximately 60 minutes.
