I'm not sure what drew me to this book in the first place but whatever it was I am sooo glad that I bought it. There is a lot going on with the characters upstairs and downstairs, even the stray, rescued cat has his own little story going on. The characters are likeable and believeable. The story is not predictable at all. I'll be looking for more books by this author.
