Rainie Conner suddenly disappears and her estranged husband, an ex-FBI profiler, Pierce Quincy has no idea where she is. Plaqued with a history of alcholism, Rainie, is haunted with a crime that occurred in her past as a police officer. While driving from her home one night she is suddenly abducted and held for ransom. The story unfolds as we follow Rainie plight and Quincy's attempt to find her. Excellent mystery/thriller that keeps you in suspense to the very end. Lisa Gardner's writing of "Gone" has you realizing the true meaning of the word.
