When someone attempts to kidnap her daughter, Sophie Baylor is thankful that they did not succeed. Unfortunately, her daughter's best friend was taken by mistake. Not being able to reach her ex-husband, Sophie contacts a friend from the past, Wyatt Savage. Wyatt will do anything for Sophie. Twelve years ago he did not pursue her because she was in love with his best friend. Now she is single and needs his help. Wyatt contacts his buddies at Black Ops, Inc. to help him find a little girl that is being held hostage in El Salvador. He must also keep Sophie out of the line of fire at the same time.
This story hooked me right away. It was fast moving and hard to put down, even though the man behind the kidnappings was rather obvious. There was a secondary romance in this book. I have been waiting to read more about this couple since the first book, but I thought their story could have been better. My rating: 4 Stars.
