This is an unusual book for Signet. It resembles the typical traditional Regency that this publisher puts out, in that much of the story takes place in that time period. However, it begins in a contemporary setting where a career woman with a troubled marriage accidently travels back in time to Regency England. On arrival she finds that she has been transported into the body of a woman torn between her cold but commanding husband and a handsome adoring man who tries to convince her that he will treat her better. Mary Balogh's review says she found the story "fascinating" and "suspenseful"
