I enjoyed the 1st book in this series...fell in love with the heroine. However, Ms Jackson has outdone herself with Wicked Lies, the 2nd in the series. Laura is a strong character. I also enjoyed the length of the novel. I highly recommend both the 1st and this book in The Colony series. I'm about to start the 3rd one and have great expectations! They just keep getting better. Try her other books, too! I've not been disappointed in any of them.
