Silhouette discontinued the Shadows series and started up with the Dreamscape series. This line also has alot of great authors and books dealing with romance in the paranormal. In this book Bonnie comes to an isolated Arkansas research lab to see her father who she finds very different from what she remembers. There is also her fathers co-worker Nicholas Shepherd who warns warns Bonnie away but she seems drawn to him by some strange force. Then time starts running out as emotions run wild between Nicholas and Bonnie. And Nicholas knows he has a deadly secret that will guarantee that falling in love with Bonnie will destroy them both.
