I adore Cynthia Eden so this review is probably bias. I haven't read one book by her I didn't like. Given that I fell in love with Niol in the earlier books, this review is doubly bias.

One of my pet peeves has always been characters who were doctors or reporters. They tend to be annoying. Holly was awesome, so much spirit and sweet at the same time. Niol was the typical sexy alpha demon (ah, sigh...).

Things I loved about this book were the steamy love scenes (of course) and just how their relationship progressed. It wasn't the typical love at first sight or frustrating misunderstandings. It was just a nice slow lust turned into love.

There was also a nice mystery to go with it. I was able to guess who the bad guys were halfway through but for a while I was going back and forth between the characters.

Overall a very good read. Easy and quick.
