A fascinating book if you like to see how science supports biblical stories. The science includes geologic evidence of a volcanic eruption centered at the current island of Santorini. Could the eruption, similar to Mt. St Helens be the pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night? Could the earthquake have produced a tsunami, similar to the one just witnessed in the Indian ocean, be responsible for the Reed Sea parting where a shallow body of water suddenly retreats for a short time then comes rushing back to destroy the Pharoah's army? Anyone interested in Biblical geology and archeology or Middle Eastern history will enjoy this book. Some stories will never be the same again, including the ten plagues, parting the Reed Sea, Mount Sinai, wilderness, or the walls of Jerico.
