This book is one of Julia Qinn's best. The hero is Gareth St Clair, a handome as sin but with issues with his father. He meets Hyacinth Bridgerton, the youngest of the famed Bridgerton siblings---she's smart and outspoken and not your average heroine. There's an interesting mystery plot which centers on a diary written in Italian with clues that may lead to a treasure trove of diamonds.
