Book Review of The Christmas Cottage

A cute story, easy reading. Contemporary romance about a woman who encounters her teen crush at his family's guest cottage during a snowstorm and sparks fly. The connection between them, besides chemistry, is his sister who is her best friend who is getting married for Christmas and they are to be best man and maid of honor.

I have a personal fondness for Christmas romances so I have a high tolerance for iffy stories and writing. I think for what it is, it was pretty cute. That said, this is a self-published book and there are a lot of typographical errors (al instead of all, fro instead of for , etc.) and continuity errors especially at the end of the book. The end of the book felt rushed and had some serious plausibility issues. I thought the author could have achieved the same goal without so much compromise of reality.

There is no sex in this book, implied but not described. Kissing only.
