One of the best books I've read lately. Fun and funny but not fluffy. It's has a Molly Harper humor - but balanced by an "on-steroids" Ilona Andrews creativity and world-building + a Jennifer Estep heroine (who brings the hurt but is neither too perfect or too bloody). It isn't gritty but also isn't angsty or fluff-like. Just a great all around urban fantasy book.
