Wonderful! It pulled me right in. The characters are complex and the worldbuilding/SF aspects are unique.

This book will appeal to both SF and Romance fans--there's not that much romance in this one, but there is more in the sequel. If you liked Grimspace but wanted it a little lighter, this book is it.

Personally, I didn't mind not getting the hero's POV. It lends him more mystery. In this way the book is written like a science fiction novel.

This has action, character development, a dash of romance, interesting background characters, excellent worldbuilding, and a couple of gruesome spots that are necessary to the plot. This series (two books so far) is a keeper for me to reread. Yes, I've read both books already. This book was really hard to put down at night.
