This is a sort of circular memoir about a girl's experiences growing up in New England with an alcoholic, drug-addicted mother and a father who regularly commits acts of domestic violence. If you've read "The Glass Castle" by Jeanette Walls, I think you would like this. There are plenty of drugs and alcohol addiction and ultimately redemption.
