Darcy's mom thinks that life on a ranch means a return to the simple life, but for Darcy, there's always something going on. First Darcy plans a huge bash for her friend Kathi's birthday--only to have it crashed by two hundred baby chicks! Then weird Layne gets a crush on Darcy and won't leae her alone. Darcy is beginning to realize that life in the middle of nowhere really isn't that bad--at least she's never bored!
