An excellent read, with great characters, a fun story, and plenty of sexual tension and heat.
This series revolves around 3 Dukes who have been friends since childhood. I always feel that Madeline Hunter's greatest strength is her depiction of male characters, the way they talk and think and the way friendships work between men. This book was an excellent example of that. Not that she doesn't also do a good job with the female characters, of which there are a variety, both young and old, wealthy and poor, married and single. The quality of the writing is also excellent.

The heroine, Amanda, is living a double life and it is about to crash down on her. She never expects that a Duke would turn out to be the one she could rely on. There are lots of great scenes that show their deepening relationship, as they talk and travel and do things together, and it made this cross-class love story believable.
