What can I say. I am still completely enjoying this series, but I get frustrated.
At the beginning of this book Celia is in Mexico on a job trying to get several people out alive. She has employed John Creede and his company to help. She and John have a leadership argument and she angrily fires him. John pulls out his entire team, even leaving her no transportation. That just boggles my mind. First because he is such a consummate bodyguard and second because John is in love with Celia. Is he possessed? The authors never let the reader know.
Celia is an attendant in her cousins royal wedding. Creede is the bodyguard for king Dahlmar. Although Creede helps Celia and Bruno out we still don't know what the problem is.
Since Creede has pulled back, Celia and Bruno share a suite in Rusland. When Creede sees them together he seems jealous. So what gives.
Sorry for the rant, but WTH!
