This is a well written, fast moving story of young adults and vampires. It does leave some of the backstory too long and is a bit confused in the beginning but by the end it succeeds in gaining your interest.

At just under 250 pages it's shorter than many teen vampire stories but then it's really just the first installment in a longer tale. I'm NOT particularly happy with where it leaves off and I'll most likely read the next installment but with a small sense of duress.
