Weather Warden Joanne Baldwin and her new husband, Djinn David, are on the cruise of a lifetime. No, not a honeymoon cruise. This time they, along with fellow wardens and djinn, are tracking a killer hurricane. The storm was created by the demon Bad Bob, who wants to wipe out the Djinn and doesn't care if there are any other casualties. As Jo is pulled toward the darkness of the storm, David and Lewis wonder if she can be saved or will the demon within her drive her to Bad Bob's side.
I was a bit disappointed with this entry in the Weather Warden series. I was bored with the middle portion of the book and almost gave up on it. It felt like we were just rehashing old plot points from earlier books in the series. With the ending that was written, this book could have wrapped up the series. But I know this isn't the end since there is one more book in the series. I'll see where that one takes us. My rating: 3 Stars.
