I was very disappointed when I read this book. I was surprised I even decided to go ahead and finish it. I loved the authors previous books and this one left me without a smile and I had to push to get through it.

It's about a woman who suffocates her mother that she's been taking care of--mentally ill mother, and now her mother is elderly and cannot take care of herself. The character in this book just seemed a little too far out there for me to connect with.
