This book has humor, romance and even some suspense.

Anne-Marie Dougal and her 2 sisters are con artists which is how they raise money to support the orphanage where they have lived most of their lives. The girls have been caught and are in a jail wagon being transported to their hanging when a group of young Comanches attack the wagon and kill the driver. The wagon overturns and the girls are stunned and in danger from the Comanches. Three men who just happen to be in the area see what is happening and ride to the rescue. When they hear the Comanches coming towards them, each man grabs one of the girls and they ride off in different directions. Creed Walker is a Crow and Anne-Marie thinks she has been kidnapped by someone who is planning to killl her. Creed thinks she is a nun as that is the disguise she was using. They get on each other's nerves which adds lots of humor. When Creed finally tells Ann-Marie who he is and what he doing she offers to help him. She is good at coming up with con schemes and she uses several to help Creed. Danger and mystery follow them as they fulfill Creed's mission and fall in love.
