This is book 1 of the Wilderness Saga series by talented author Sara Donati. Enjoyed this story so much, I didn't want it end but am happy there are five more books to come. Never a dull moment with Elizebeth Middleton who arrives in frontier New York from England early winter of 1792. Absolutely loved it!
