After a one night stand, Beth Hanson tells Kevin Kowalski that he is going to be a father. A faulty condom has led to a surprise pregnancy. Kevin is shocked, but deep down he knows he's ready for his own family. The problem is Beth. She doesn't want to get married. She doesn't want any help with her pregnancy. She doesn't want to show any weaknesses. Buy as Kevin gets to know her better, he convinces her that he is not going to walk away from her or their baby.
This is the second book in the Kowalski family series. Can I say how much I loved Kevin. He wants to take care of Beth even when she's pushing him away. Beth was a bit frustrating to me. She doesn't want Kevin to marry her because of the baby. She wants a husband who loves her. Even when Kevin tries to prove it over and over, she doesn't budge. I'm giving his book 4.5 Stars. I would have given it a higher rating if Beth had been more understanding.
