This is not a romance series like her other books, and I can honestly say that I, as an avid reader of all things romance, loved these books more than any of her others, or anyone else's. They are great. This book was touted as the "dark" book of the series, a turning point in the story arc, so lots of people didn't like it but I think it's great and am anxiously awaiting the next installment - which Ms. Moning announced today that she hopes to have it out in August of next year!
