I found "Quiet" by Susan Cain a very valuable read, but I could not relate to *anything* in this book. Apparently I'm too upbeat a person for the wisdom in this book - even though my friends would never characterize me as "cheerful."
Content alert: There's a whole chapter on the hidden pain of highly privileged students at Princeton, a place that in this book sounds 10 times worse than the terrible stereotypes of it.
