Another woman in my book club picked this book for us to read. I wasn't all that excited about it as I prefer non-fiction. After the first 40 pages or so, I really got into the story and enjoyed the characters. This book ended up being one of the best I've read all year. Very heartwarming. The writer, Sandra Kring did a fantastic job at writing from a ten year old's point of view. I highly recommend this book.
