Tess Williams is on the run from her ex-husband, Jim Beckett, an escaped serial killer (and ex-cop) who's sworn to kill her. After hiding away their daughter in what she thinks is a safe location, she enlists the help of a retired mercenary, JT Dillon and his FBI agent-sister, Marion.

This book is very fast-paced and OMG-creepy. Being a former cop, Jim Beckett knows all their rules and how to break them without getting caught. The plot was so engaging I couldn't put it down...finished the book in about a day and a half.
