I loved all of the Desperate Duchesses books. I wished that I had waited for the final one and read them back to back as a saga. By the time I got to this book I really couldn't remember all of the characters and how they fit into the whole picture. Of course, Villiers appears in all of them, but I really couldn't remember his story. I would go back and read them, but there are too many books and so little time. This story was particularly engaging. I liked the H/H and particularly liked the children that were introduced. Both of them were precocious and very smart, but not to the point of being obnoxious. Recommend. Note: try to get them all and read them in order.
