Wonderful story and characters, fun and easy read. Some jargon to get through but not too much.
I was told there was gay content - not really, but gay friendly. Just a mention that while adolescents are apprentices, "...the guilds generally turned a blind eye to the passionate friendships between the apprentices of the same gender. Better barren sex than a hoard of children filling the guildhalls." Safe for teens.
