Curiosity got the best of me of what the hype was about on this Young Adult book... While not totally disappointed I didn't see what the hype was all about, has to be the movie that's caused it. It truly brings the high school out in you.
I think that the book has a lot of detail that's truly not necessary but expected of a new writer... I found the book to be very easy to read, simple at best. Characters development needs improvement. I found it a bit hard to believe that plain jane Bella get a drop dead (no punt intended) gorgeous Edward to fall in love with because she smells sweet...
I recommend the book for teens. For adults it may be too high school for you.. There's plenty of adult vampire books to choose from... Who knows I just may read the second book.
