Good story set in the 1930's about Ella and David Rainwater and her son, Solly.
Racial tensions and injustices are at the heart of the story, too. The attraction between Ella and David was dragged out a little too long for my likingI would've enjoyed it more if they'd gotten together a little sooner. But overall RAINWATER was a satisfying, quick read.
